Katie is an experienced change maker running for Congress in her hometown to give a voice to the people of California’s 25th district. If you’re a member of this community, then you likely already know Katie – she’s the daughter of a local registered nurse and police officer, she went to all local public schools, and there’s a good chance you’ve shared a grocery store checkout lane once or twice.
Katie is running for Congress to make sure your values and your community are represented in Washington – her campaign is truly grassroots and won’t take a dime from corporate PACs, because your representatives should only be accountable to you and your family.
Not long after attending College of the Canyons and graduating CSUN with a Masters Degree in Public Administration, Katie started her career in public service, using her talents to grow People Assisting the Homeless (PATH) from a local organization to California’s largest non-profit provider of homes for the homeless, as its Executive Director.
Katie is devoted to stabilizing families, addressing poverty at its roots, and bringing tangible and real change to her own community. After partnering with health providers, law enforcement and employers, and overseeing hundreds of government contracts, Katie understands the complexities of creating meaningful change. She looks forward to bringing her experience and community’s priorities to Washington, and would be honored to have your support.
Katie currently lives on a rescue animal farm in Agua Dulce with her husband Kenny and their dogs, horses and even baby goats!
